You cannot tell today (It is 52 degrees today), but we are almost through spring. I am sitting at my computer watching a pair of Robins feed their babies out my window. They are big and strong and will abandon their nest soon.
We just went past the Kolache Festival, and of course, we sold every last one. Thank you to everyone who helped with the bakes and going to the festival to help in the booth. Doing this kind of work is very important if we want to continue being a part of the Kolache Celebration, not only for the church, but also for the local tradition and heritage.
This Sunday is Mother's Day. We received just over 500 names of mothers our Parishioners and Shrine Members wanted acknowledged by prayers and flowers on this day. We hope that all the Mothers have a blessed and loving day with their families.
Thank you all.
